Entry 10: Wrap-Up: Outcomes of the course.

     This ICT course is very useful and necessary lesson for us and also for our future. Although this course began at the second semester, it was favourite subject for all of our groupmates, because of our teacher.
      Until this course I considered myself to have enough computer knowledge. But during this course I learned so many things which I do not know. For example: we knew a lot of sites to improve learning skills; we learned how to create and fill portfolio, blog and others.
     For this amazing course and skills and knowledge I thank to my teacher. Thank you, dear teacher😊 You are the best teacher in the world😙😙😙 We oqlaymiz your believeness.

Entry9 : Pros and cons of different social media applications

    This century is technological century and day by day we can see different inventions, new technology etc. Today's young can not imagine their life witout mobile phones. Yes, these technologies are very comfortable, we can do a lot of things by them. There are many apps for chatting, shopping. For example: Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Twitter and others. But altogether their advantages they have also disadvantages. Here by only one social media applications we will have information:
 Facebook
Pros: Facebook is the biggest social media site out there. It has over 1.65 billion users worldwide. It’s very easy to get a business started on Facebook. Also, its new Live feature is a powerful way for a business to connect with their audience.
Cons: Facebook is becoming a more pay to play network. Meaning, you have to pay for access to be able to play games that show up on your newsfeed. Another con for Facebook is that many teens and millennials are using different social media networks. So, if you want to reach a younger audience you might want to pick a different site.
These are just my opinion. The conclusion depends on you.

Entry 8: How useful are online self assisment tests

    Online self-assesment tests are very useful. It is quick, easy and reasonable way to access your skills, interests, values, motivations. Many tests are totally free and most are available online with comprehensive results often ready almost immadiately.
       As for us, I mean students, by them we can know our knowledge and our interests. They are honest way and we can not cheat ourselves. And we do not need to look for a professional teacher to check our results.
       Furthermore, this test helps people to find a suitable for them. For example: we can see a lot of graduaters of school and college who haven't  decided to be whom. On the internet there are so many this kind of test. I think it works for above mentioned people.

Entry 7: The best project I made

    During my 1st year of student I made a lot of project works and presentations with my groupmates, especially, in listening and speaking lesson. Every project work taught me something. They all of them were amazing and unforgottable. Among them I really liked was " Taking the interview from tourists" and it was the best one. It was full of interesting experiences. During this project we improved not only our speaking and socializing skills, but also we relaxed and had fun. It was my first time to talk with native english speaker. Although we wasted  much time to get this interview, I think I will never regret for it and in my opinion, it was the best of other this kind of projects. I could feel it that everybody watched it with interest.

Entry 6 : My test taking Strategies

      There are a lot of important days in our life. Among them examination day is essential moment. Some exams' results can change our life totally. Especilly, in Uzbekistan entering exam into Univecity is great importance for the young. Of course, in order to get good result we should have enough knowledge, we should hard work and except them we should know some test taking strategies.
      Before entering exam I had also fear, I was excited. At that time I created my own test taking strategies. You can see it here:
R - read the question carefully;
E - examine every answer choice before you choose your own answer;
L - label your answer;
A - always check your work and answer sheet;
X - x-out answers that can not be right;
E - erase neatly and fix your answers when you check your work;
D - don't spend much time on one question.
Exam is a simple day like other days. Just relax😊

Entry5: Critical analysis of online language learning resources

       Technology has become the key to a new world of education. Online learning has become one of the most popular ways of gaining access to an education. There are many adventages and disadventages of online learning languages. I am going to describe disadvantages of it. They are:
- Learners with low motivation or bad study habits may fall behind;
- Students may get lost or confused about course activities and deadlines;
- Students may feel isolated from the instructors and classmates;
- Instructor may not always be available when students are studying or need help;
- Lab work is difficult to simulate in a virtual classroom.

Entry4: Am I slow or a fast reader?

  I consider myself a moderately fast reader. I am not a speed reader by any means, but if I have time to devote to a book for enough time, depending on the length and genre, I can smash a 300 page book in three hours or so.
       To be honestly, but sometimes I am a slow reader. It depends on the text and the context. If it is really interesting for men and easy to understand, I will be a fast reader, however, if it is somehow boring and there are so many new words in it, I need time to realize it.
       I think to be a fast reader, everybody has patience and needs to practice, practice and practice. It will help to improve any skill.

Entry3: Listening podcasts and applications

 To improve our listening skills podcasts and applications are really useful sources. In telegram chanels or in univercity so many teachers say that if we listen to 3 or 4 podcasts a day, our listening skills will increase by sudden.
        As if lesson, during our ICT course we learned so many sites to improve our all English skills. Among them we had several sites and links belong to listening skill, especially podcasts. A podcast is a radio show on the internet. Podcast is not generally broadcast live - they are recorded, meaning you can listen wenever you want. Most podcasts release new episods once a week, but some offer episods daily.
      For me, it is the perfect companion for cleaning the house or cooking a meal and many use podcasts to make long commutes more interesting.

Entry2: My Computer Skills: Strengths and weaknesses

       Before learning  this course, I thought that  my computer skill is good enough. Because I can easily use word, excel, power point and like this kind of programmes. But during this course I am realizing that these skills aren’t enough for the ICT  and for this technological life.
       Knowing how to use the Internet and its some programmes is my strength side and they really help me in this course.
         But I don’t know how to create e-portfolio, what kind of sites help us to improve our learning skills. These are my weakness sides.

       And now I am sure  that after finishing the ICT course, I will be able to use technological methods in my future profession and I will  advise my future pupils to learn new language with comfortable and modern ways.

Entry1: My first Impressions and Expectations of the University Classes

     I am one of the happiest people because I am the first course student of the first faculty of The Uzbek State World Language Univercity. First day of the study I really liked our univercity and I was proud of entering there. It was very beautiful and atracctive. In the first day our teacher Talibjanova Aziza taught us from reading. It was really fruitful and interesting lesson. Day by day after lessons, I expected that my teachers and classes would contribute to be develop our skills and knowledge also.
          Now we are finishing our first course and I am sure I got so many knowledge and skills from my teachers. Thank you for all of them😊

The Registon of Andijan

Good evening my dears! Today you will have information about one heritage site of Andijan and its history. Let me introduce it. The famous Jame' complex in the heart of Andijan, now known as " The Registon of Andijan", is of great importance among other places. The complex consists of a mosque, a madrassah and a minaret of 123 meters. This monument dates back to 1883- 1890. The mosque was considered to be a four-year educational institution, mainly based on contract. Despite the fact that that study was paid, there was no discrimination. In the mosque more than 1000 students educated.In general, in the Jame', there were other sciences such as history, astranomy, philosophy, logic and so on, excluding religious sciences.
In 2018, this complex was completely reconstructed and the opening ceremony of the complex, which is called " The Registon of Andijan" , was held during the festive days of Navruz. The view of the buildings, fountains, flowers and pavements combined with entire artwork. This place where the future is connected is truly a reflection of the history of Andijan. The opening of mosque became a truly joyous holiday for the Andijan residents😍

And as for me, on May in our Univercity The Conference was held. The conference was about Touristic places in Uzbekistan. I participated in this conference with my article about exactly this place, I mean "The Registon of Andijan". It was my first article and I am happy it was about Andijan😍
